LITERARY

WARNING: ONE OF THE ADMINS IS A GRAMMAR NAZI!

Grammar - As -hopefully- most of you are already aware, good role playing is due in large part to good grammar [i.e. correct spelling and punctuation]. So, hence, poor grammar is not tolerated. Granted we are all entitled to our moments of being temporarily possessed by typo demons; a slip up here and there is tolerated. Especially if you have shown exemplary grammatical skills. If you're really that bad with typo's...Kami created spell check for a reason.

Posting - Storyline is key in good role play, therefore please try to post at least (3) paragraphs. It isn't asking a lot I hope. One liners [and first person for that matter] are not allowed.

[e.g. I went to the store.]

Profanity - It's a given that the world is full of 'potty mouths'. And, yes, some characters -in order to be kept in character- do swear a good deal. But Sai and I ask that you do not curse like a sailor on this board. It will not be tolerated and will lead to being banned for a short period.

CHARACTERS

Multiple Characters - In this role play you may only have up to (4) characters.

(1) Cannon character is allowed, mainly so no one goes about role playing all on there lonesome and to free up characters so others may participate. However, if you feel the cannon character you choose has too little activity, exceptions may be made.

Original Characters - Characters created must follow the typical 'shinobi' standard. Characters modeled after other Cannon characters, from any known fandom, are not allowed. Creativity is golden, so please, express it. This additionally includes cloning already existing original characters.

'God Modding' - BIG NO-NO. 'God Modding' is in essence when someone’s character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. And example is when they simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other RP-ers try.

-It can be killing or injuring a character without the player's express permission.

-It can be when they simply can’t be hit and dodge all attacks or anything for this matter aimed at them.

-It can also be using other characters that other people RP with. In other words, if you do not RP as Naruto, then you cannot have Naruto say anything, or do anything, without the player's express permission.

The absolute worst is when they make out another character to be what they’re not, just to make their own character seem superior. They make others seem weak, screaming for help, when they’ve made it quite clear about their advantages and strengths. This is called power-play. It’s a strain of God-Modding, but instead of just being irritating, it’s offensive to boot.

[e.g. Sai: Punches Sasuke. Sasuke: Dodges attack, grabs Sai and throws him. Sai flies at Sasuke, who warps behind him and slashes Sai in the back.]

Just...DON'T.

ACTIVITY

Member Activity - As much as we enjoy active members, posting spam and/or trolling the forum does not count as being an active member! Mark my words, you shall and will be banned for an indefinite amount of time, depending on your offense.

Constructive Activity - Even if you do not post out of character, an occasional look at the Member board may prove helpful. Members who value detail are valued themselves!

FORUM ETIQUETTE

If you have been approved, I'm praying you are mature enough to know the time old saying: Treat others as you want to be treated.
No rude/ sexually harrassing/ discriminatory remarks are allowed! Especially if you go out of your way to conceal your harassment toward another member! You will be banned either for an alloted amount of time or FOR GOOD depending on your actions.
